Darcy received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from Andrews University in Michigan in 2000.
After graduation, she started working at Mayo Health system in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. While there she obtained experience in acute care inpatient setting and outpatient orthopedics. She helped start the lymphedema program at the Eau Claire campus of Mayo.
Darcy has worked with chronic back and neck pain for more than 18 years. She takes an osteopathic approach with her treatment for all different types of injury, but specializes in chronic pain. She utilizes osteopathic techniques such as muscle energy techniques to correct osteopathic findings, cranial sacral techniques, visceral, and nerve mobilization. She uses several different myofascial techniques as well. She has had experience with wound care, fall prevention, and is certified in the LSVT BIG program treating Parkinson’s patients. She is certified in manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive therapy.
She enjoys helping people accomplish their goals to enjoy life with less pain.
